About EquipSea

Founded in 2017 by professionals with extensive experience in the Oil & Gas and Energy segments, EQUIPSEA focuses on manufacturing welded and machined equipment, as well as assembled and tested turnkey assemblies.

We are ISO-9001 and ISO-45001 certified, besides the ongoing certification process for ISO-50001 (scheduled to Dec/24), and we will start the certification process for ISO-14001 next year (2025).

We have a covered manufacturing area of approximately 10,400 m2, subdivided into two buildings.

Usinagem

Machining shop equipped to meet the most demanding requirements for high-precision machining of small, medium, and large parts.

Medium and large T-type and Floor-type NC boring and milling machines, medium and large NC vertical lathes, and small and medium-sized NC horizontal lathes and machining centers.
CAM simulation software for developing machining programs.
Dimensional inspection with 3D equipment.
Equipment, procedures, and qualified personnel for NDT (Non-Destructive Testing).

Cladding

Overlay deposition through metallic and non-metallic coating (Additive manufacturing) on a product or device aiming to achieve a specific surface property with multiple purposes such as specific mechanical properties, thermal insulation, resistance to severe climatic conditions, and many others that can be relevant to your business. We work with conventional materials to the most exotic ones like Inconel.

Fabrication and Welding Shop (Boilermaking)

Fabrication and Welding Shop specializing in structures and components for Oil & Gas and Energy sectors applications, both off-shore and on-shore, such as: Christmas Trees, Production Adaptor Bases, UDEH, PLEM, PLET, manifolds, skids, etc.

Our team consists of resident welding engineers with N2 certification, welders and inspectors with N1 certification.

Qualified WPS’s for dozens of different kinds of welded joints of the most varied materials, both similar and dissimilar, high and low alloy structural carbon steels, austenitic, martensitic, duplex, superduplex stainless steels, high nickel and chromium alloys, etc., according to AWS, ASME, DIN, and NORSOK standards.

Equipment, procedures and qualified personnel for NDT (Non-destructive testing)

Complete infrastructure and equipment for manufacturing small, medium, and large parts and structures up to 40 tons.

Coating

The Energy and Oil & Gas markets have applications for severe usage conditions, requiring the most diverse types of coating, which helped Equipsea develop broad knowledge in the market and made us capable of performing various coating services.

Equipsea, with its partners, offers application services for Molybdenum Disulfide, Xylan®, Phosphating, Thermal Spraying, Varnishing, Bichromatization, Black oxidation, and Nickel plating, among others.

Assembling

Assembling of sets, on a complete turnkey basis (all sub-assemblies and parts produced by EquipSea) or on a partial basis (with part of the sub-assemblies and parts produced by EquipSea and part supplied by the customer) or, even, assembly service only (with all sub-assemblies and parts supplied by the customer).

Services including assembly and mechanical adjustment of welded and machined sub-assemblies, machine elements (such as seals, bearings, fasteners, etc.), hydraulic systems and instrumentation (pipes, valves, transmitters, fittings, etc.), drives and electro-electronic systems (power, control and automation etc.), in addition to sets preparation for tests execution afterall.

Examples of assembled sets are ROV panels, UDEH, PLEM, connector kits, etc.

Testing

Testing of assembled sets and components, whether manufactured and/or assembled by EquipSea or by the customer, includes:

Hydrostatic pressure tests of up to 30 kpsi in a bunker approved by OneSubsea;
Structural load tests of up to 100 tons, with the application of counterweights or the use of hydraulic jacks;
Functional tests and factory acceptance tests (TAF/FAT) according to the customer's technical specifications, upon analysis;
Other tests available upon consultation.
